Savannah- Violet M. Kessler, 85, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011.
Mrs. Kessler was born in Central City, Nebraska on April 29, 1926 to Tony and Lena Bouwens. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother and a Lutheran. Her husband, Clyde H. Kessler preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara L. Kessler of Glennville, GA; son, Clyde B. "Butch" Kessler and his wife, Debbie of Savannah; five grandchildren, Carey Riel of Boyds, MD, Kenny Riel Steve of Charlotte, NC, Brock Jones of Savannah, GA Misti Finn Stan of Rincon, GA, and Cole Kessler of Savannah, GA, and ten great-grand-children.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
